Campden Hill Close

Campden Hill Close is a most unusual and delightful backwater.

It is a small cul-de-sac entered by a narrow driveway off Hornton Street. It consists of an attractive courtyard with space for about 6 cars to park, and surrounded by two-storey mews-style houses with attractive first floor balconettes.

There is a great feeling of privacy and it is certainly extremely quiet. At the entrance to the courtyard, about 20 ft overhead, there is an attractive street lamp in wrought iron supported by some wrought iron trellising, joined up to the buildings on either side.
